My name is Sharon King-Chai and this is my portfolio site.

I grew up on the sunny shores of Sydney and spent happy years doodling & covering the carpets in ink.
I studied Visual Communication (Hons) at University of Technology, Sydney, majoring in illustration.
In 2003, armed with paintbrushes & a jar of vegemite I travelled across the world
to a fresh new canvas, London, and have been making a mess here ever since.

I’ve had the pleasure in working in some exciting companies (from design studio Stylorouge
to publishing houses Macmillan and Egmont), and also enjoy writing and illustrating
children’s picture books on the side. Collaborating with creative people and meeting
new ones is one of the best things about the job.

I have worked on many exciting projects- from album artwork, websites, ad campaigns,
to product packaging, logos, book covers & event identities.
